Casino di Venezia

This will be the first Poker Festival organised at the Casino di Venezia.  They have hosted a couple of Private Tournaments before including one for the Ongame Network during the "World Poker Congress" in November.  This was run and organised by Ongame and not the Casino, with Ongame tables, chips and Prizes.
The Craziest Casino Sit and Go ever?

After the Tournament above was started and players were being knocked out the Casino  "organised" an STT.  The problem was that it was the first one ever held by the Casino.

LM30 Buy In, chips paid for and received at the Cashier. 30 chips were handed to the players who sat down expecting more chips to then be handed to them.  These 30 chips obviously being the buy in as cash could not be used on the table.  The Casino did not have any Tournament chips so had to use cash chips.  They could not give the players 1000 or 1500 to start as it was actual money value they would be handing over.

To the surprise of all the House Fee was then taken from the 30 chips and the players started with 27 chips.  Starting Blinds were one, then increased to 1/1 and in further rounds went along the normal lines of 1/2 then 2/4.  The Casino wanted the Blinds to start at 1/2, more than 10% of the starting stack.  In the first hand a player raised by 3 and everyone had to fold.

A true story.
